Despite what I deem a contemporary cover, these stories have a heavy historical feel to them. Something, I admit, the blurb more than hints at. Me, I saw the cover and pounced.
The stories are different, but similar. The majority of them feature some sort of discipline, namely spanking/slapping of bottoms.
‘The world turned upside down’ was my favourite story. Naomi and Anna were the most fleshed out characters, in my opinion, which allowed me to buy into their story.

The stories are well constricted around some erotic scenes with voyeurism, spanking of bottoms and historical places and times. But in the end these are some good short stories to start your blood pressure getting higher…!

The enticing cover of’ Taste of Her’ is a good indication of what is in store for the reader. It is a very sexy, well written anthology of erotic tales guaranteed to satisfy. I particularly enjoyed ‘A Literary Lesson’ where a poet has a very interesting encounter that made an author reading unexpectedly hot. I look forward to more in the same vein.

This is an erotic book and I’m not going to make any comments on that area, because spanking and discipline is not my thing and It wouldn’t be fair for the author. So I just stick with the writing. 🙂 The short stories are very well written and not set up in the usual scenarios. And that’s it the smallest review I ever wrote!

OK, first off I chose the book because of the cover. Yeah I know…. But saying that the stories were not too bad. They are based on dominance. Nothing really heavy.
The book consists of a collection of short stories. I have read a few erotic stories but they aren’t my main genre that I enjoy. So I can’t really compare. But I don’t think my opinion will matter too much as I really feel that you need to experience these short stories for yourself.
I will say they are worth your time and you may or may not enjoy them. Be a devil and give the book a go. I did and I don’t regret it. Enjoy!

The Taste of Her is absolutely delicious.
The cover (while I’m not complaining) actually misleads readers. Beneath this seductive exterior one would expect the normal, pwp quickie. However, with this collection of short stories, the reader gets completely unique and unexpected plots. These tales contain more depth than just the length of a lesbian’s finger. Even the crisp editing turned me on.
There are 5 different short stories with settings that vary as much as the sexual positions the characters find themselves in.
There is a lingerie store where you’ll want to buy your new knickers (you’ll need them), and a nunnery where your soul will want to convert. Honestly, it gave speaking in tongues a whole new meaning because that body was definitely filled with some holy spirit.
The book also includes a writers’ festival, a cabaret, and a Hollywood set where “Action” won’t be the only thing you’ll scream.
In all seriousness tho, buy this book. And lesbi-honest, y’all know you’ve spent way more than $2.99 on orgasms before.
