I stayed up waaaaaay too late on a work night to finish this. Worth. It.
Quick Thoughts:
– Single Mom AND Fake Dating? Talk about a double dose of Kryptonite
– The interactions between Riley, Kim, and Tyler were so cute.
– Speaking of interactions, I also liked the friendship between Kim’s Ex and his fiancée. It reminds me of my mom and her first husband’s friendship
– Okay, I really liked all the side characters
– This book walks that fine line between moving the timeline forward by skipping some scenes and including them
– There was a bit at the end when they’re telling Tyler about them that his dialogue feels a bit old for him
– I liked how Riley and Kim had different likes and strengths but the same core values and sense of fun
– Consent is sexy
Overall I had high expectations for this book and it delivered. Rachael Sommers is quickly becoming an auto-buy for me. This is the third book I have read of hers and I loved all three.
