Cute, funny, romantic and full of charming characters.
Sophie and Allie are twins and would do anything for each other. Also slip into the role of the other, if need be…
That’s what it’s all about, but not without a valid and somewhat sad reason! Allie becomes Sophie for the Gay Bells Wedding Festival in Quandong that Sophie organizes as an event planner. There she meets her assistant who is made available to her and this assistant makes her seriously doubt her heterosexuality!
Tarryn is a welder and an artist but takes on various jobs to fund everything and to continue her art. She knows who she is and what she likes, but this new event planner from Sydney shakes her self-confidence…
Both MC’s are very likeable and lovable. Of course, because of the charade, everything is a bit difficult and develops slowly, but the chemistry between the two is strong from the first moment.
Cheyenne Blue has written another heartwarming love story with many different characters who beautifully represent the rainbow and our community. Serious themes of rejection and homophobia are also addressed, yet easily integrated into the story without complicating the moment. It’s a beautiful light story.
Thanks to Cheyenne Blue and Ylva Publishing for the ARC!
