Strong women. Articulate women of power. Smart, funny, sometimes stubborn women who know how to get what they’re after, whether it’s a coup in the world of intergalactic politics or a date with that intriguing woman at the coffee shop. These are the kinds of women Fletcher DeLancey writes, and here at Ylva, we’re thrilled to have her strong ladies busting down our door.
We are pleased to announce that beginning in the spring of 2015, we will be publishing a terrific science fiction series from DeLancey, the first installment of which is called The Caphenon.
DeLancey’s series will introduce you to the mesmerizing world of Alsea, a planet seething with power struggles beneath its rigid caste system, not only among its various factions but also between those who are powerful empaths and those who are not. Full of world building, adventure, political intrigue, and tender romance, The Caphenon will be available in the spring of 2015.
Ylva already published DeLancey’s novella Mac vs. PC, a star-crossed romance involving coffee, class differences, and yes, computers, last April. It is available on Amazon, Smashwords, and many other online bookstores.
We immediately fell in love with Fletcher DeLancey’s characters and we think you will too. Welcome to the pack, Fletcher!

I couldn’t be more thrilled to hear that Fletcher Delancey’s sci-fi stories & novels will be in actual hold-in-your-hand printed format. I think ‘Without A Front’ is a classic and will be read long into the future. Have to go make room on my bookshelves now!
I’m so excited to read ANYTHING by Fletcher! I’m happy for both of you.
We have to wait until 2015 ?
That seems like forever.
