Stunning. I read reviews on how good the audiobooks were and they’re right. Angela Dawe captures the enigmatic Michelle Hastings and takes her from villian to flawed character that slowly opens up throughout this book and Chaos Agent. Listening to this, I was struck by how much Angela Dawe added to the story. Her ‘voice’ for Michelle Hastings completely changed the voice I had of her in my mind. I can’t hear her any other way. I loved the relationship between Eden and Michelle and how it built slowly. It felt realistic. I loved The Villains series as books and I have read them more than once, but the audiobooks take them to another level.
