Three excellent authors have recently agreed to turn their pens in Ylva’s direction and start writing novels for us: Jove Belle, Michelle Teichman, and Meg Harrington are all now part of the Ylva author pack. This will help make 2016 an exciting year for us! Read more about these creative ladies below:
Jove Belle, author of several books including The Job, Uncommon Romance, and Chaps, has already been with the Ylva pack for some time now as Ylva’s Operations Director, US. She’s going back into writing mode with a vengeance in 2016 and will be turning in three novels to us next year, the first of which is Cake, due out early in the year, and another entitled Archer Securities, due out this summer.
Jove was born and raised against a backdrop of orchards and potato fields. The youngest of four children, she was raised in a conservative Christian home and began asking why at a very young age, much to the consternation of her mother and grandmother. She currently lives in Vancouver, WA with her family. Find out more about her at her website www.jovebelle.com
Michelle Teichman is no writing slouch either. Her debut novel, The Gentleman: an Alex Lines novel, was a number-one most recommended e-book on Amazon.com when it came out in 2014. In 2016, she will be publishing two books with Ylva, starting this spring with the young adult novel, The Space Between.
Michelle started writing at a young age, winning a short story competition in high school, which saw an acre of wildlife conservation land dedicated in her name. Although her father, a prominent Toronto lawyer, wanted Michelle to follow the family tradition, she heard the calling of quill and quire, and took writing as her vocation. Meg Harrington likes to write about ladies, zombies, and plots to conquer the world. That’s about all we’ll tell you about her books for now, except that Meg is also going to write two books for us in 2016, starting with The Lavender List this spring.
Meg lives in Brooklyn with her dog, her roommate, and two cats of indeterminate ownership. When she isn’t writing about women loving other women, she’s pondering the evolution of transformative art and working as a tech journalist.
