Welcome new Events Manager—UK: Andrea Bramhall

UK readers, your chances to meet and connect with us in person will soon go way up, now that we have added Norfolk dynamo Andrea Bramhall to the Ylva team!

Bramhall, whom we have just hired as our Events Manager—UK, brings us welcome experience, both as a Lambda Literary Award-winning author and as a special events organizer, with many publicity events and author appearances worldwide under her belt.  She has also helped organize other kinds of public events in the Norfolk, England area. We are excited about her ideas on reaching more UK readers and booksellers and look forward to her being an information resource and mentor to our authors seeking to expand public awareness in the UK of their work.

An avid reader, musician and scuba diver, Bramhall currently lives in Norfolk, where she also manages a camping site and hostel with her partner. She will be taking charge of all future Ylva special events in the UK, including author appearances and our famous travelling pitch sessions, where new authors can meet with Ylva staff and propose a book idea in person.
