Ylva’s Andrea Bramhall will be at the Lesbian Authors Festival in Manchester on Sept. 12

UK Authors: You should seriously consider checking out the exciting new Lesbian Authors Festival  on September 12 in Manchester, England.

Ylva Publishing will be there, represented by our own Event Manager – UK, Andrea Bramhall!

The festival will take place at The Hideaway Cafe, Urmston and will feature author readings, discussions Q&A’s and live music, as well as gorgeous cakes on offer and a free glass of wine for those attending. Andrea Bramhall will be reading from her latest book, The Chameleon’s Tale, a tale of intrigue and romance set amidst the stunning landscape and the tumultuous political backdrop of South Africa.

Other authors participating include: Cari Hunter, I Beacham, Karen Campbell, Michelle Grubb, Veronica Fearon, and Jen Silver. Readings will start at 2.15pm.

The Hideaway Café has timed this event to coincide with the start of the Manchester Literature Festival running from the 12th to the 25th of September and presents events with Jeanette Winterson, Val McDermid, and Carol Ann Duffy, among others. It looks like a stellar line up and a cracking couple of weeks to be an author or reader of lesbian fiction in Manchester. Ylva Publishing couldn’t be more pleased to be a part of this event. We’ll see you there!

Also, spread the word: at the Lesbian Authors Festival on Sept. 12, at 5 pm, Andrea Bramhall will be offering our famous Ylva pitch sessions for authors. At our pitch sessions, authors unknown to us can do an in-person pitch for their unpublished manuscript with an Ylva editor.

For more details and information on signing up for a pitch session with Andrea and on what you must bring with you, contact Andrea at Andrea.Bramhall@ylva-publishing.com.
